Governing Council

 

Alice King Community School is governed by a council, comprised of community members and parents. The Council works closely with Principal Tonya Newton, the Alice King Community School Foundation, Parent/Teacher Association and the various committees to: achieve the school’s vision, ensure the fair and uniform application of all laws in operation of the School as well as the charter and policies, review the annual budget, and to enter into contracts or other agreements which are necessary or desirable in obtaining the purposes of promoting the interests of Alice King Charter School.
